Donor requirements for sound financial management and governance are becoming increasingly stringent, and many organisations need to strengthen staff capacity in order to improve compliance while freeing up as many resources as possible for programme implementation.

Accurat offers training within financial management, partner follow-up, logistics and procurement, anti-corruption, and risk management. Our courses are based on extensive hands-on experience and draw on anonymised real-life cases from the development and humanitarian sector.

Accurat’s objective is that participants are able to apply new knowledge and tools immediately after completing a course.

We offer both digital and in-person training and have developed tailored course programmes covering the following areas:

  • Assessment of management and administrative capacity of partners or country offices

  • Project monitoring and financial reporting, including templates and practical tools

  • Internal control and financial management

  • Risk assessments, anti-corruption, and whistleblowing mechanisms and case handling

  • Procurement and logistics

Accurat’s trainers have extensive experience in development cooperation and are skilled at delivering engaging and practical training. Course content is adapted to the participants and can be tailored to both staff with and without a financial background. Courses are also customised to internal guidelines and organisational frameworks, in close dialogue with the client, and adapted to the specific context and challenges faced by the relevant office or team.

We can deliver in-person training in most parts of the world and have consultants based in Kenya, Burundi, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, Guatemala, Sweden, and Norway. Courses can be delivered in Norwegian, Swedish, English, French, Spanish, and Swahili.
